Bob Leopold has lived in the Chicago area all his life and has been painting since 1960. Working primarily in acrylics, along with paint pens, charcoal, and markers, Bob strives to create distinctive work through interesting perspectives, dimensions, bold colors, and texture. Now retired, he spends many hours each week painting in his Glenview studio and is an active member of the Glenview Art League. Bob works in a contemporary Impressionist style, painting subjects ranging from cityscapes and landscapes to water scenes, flowers, sunsets, and even baseball. Much of his original artwork is inspired by what he sees throughout the Chicago area and around Lake Michigan.
