Diane Kotin is a longtime North Shore artist who has been painting for more than 40 years. Working across watercolor, pastel, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pen-and-ink, Diane draws inspiration from life and the physical presence of her subjects, with a particular focus on still lifes and flowers. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Chicago area, including at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, Chicago Botanic Garden, Wilmette Public Library, Levy Center, and Woman’s Club of Evanston, where she received three awards. Her paintings have also appeared in multiple editions of the juried East On Central publication. Diane has studied at institutions and studios including the Art Institute of Chicago, American Academy of Art, Evanston Art Center, and Studio 211 at Noyes Cultural Arts Center. Her original works can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
