Karen Ovington is a glass artist who has explored a variety of glass mediums through both study and experimentation. Her artistic journey began with architectural stained-glass panels, where she developed an appreciation for the precision and exacting nature of the medium. She later moved into fused glass, which offered greater freedom of expression, followed by torch work and, more recently, glass enameling. Today, Karen brings together techniques learned throughout her practice to create colorful, textured work that reflects her playful approach to glass.
