Ron Styne’s connection to woodworking began at eight years old, when he helped his father build a wooden cedar fence. That early experience grew into a lifelong appreciation for wood and the creative possibilities of the material. Inspired by his interests in history, sports, geography, and cars, Ron creates wooden artwork ranging from flags and sports logos to distinctive home decor. His pieces combine new wood with reclaimed materials such as barn wood, fencing, hockey sticks, and license plate letters. By transforming materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill, Ron creates unique works of art designed to find a lasting place in someone’s home or business.
