Robert Leopold has lived in the Chicago area all his life. He began painting in 1960 and has been painting ever since. He usually paints with acrylics, but also enjoys Paintpens, charcoal, and markers. He tries to achieve uniqueness in his work by capturing interesting perspectives and dimensions and by using bold colors and texture.

Now retired, Bob spends many hours each week painting in his studio in Glenview, Illinois. He is an active member of the Glenview Art League and enjoys interacting with other artists in the community.

Bob Leopold is a contemporary painter in the Impressionist style. He paints a variety of subjects including: cityscapes and landscapes, water scenes, flowers, sunsets, even baseball. Most of the paintings are inspired by things he sees in and around the Chicago area and Lake Michigan. All paintings are his original artwork.
