Nancy Streifler

My artwork is a collection of joyful and uniquepieces using a variety of vintage, recycled and found objects
I love to seek out unusual TREASURES at flea markets and antique malls, decorating them with colorful bobbles, doodads, und
thing-a-ma-bobs. The mosaic pieces are created from recycled items, but also give new life to unwanted material such as beads, broken dishes, vintage pieces, jewelry, buttons, chain, driftwood,
shells, tin, stones, marbles and tiles.
My Pan work is unique and different, each piece having a name that suits the personality that emerges from my interaction with the materials. The persona that evolves from my hands is made with
love and respect for the character that materializes.
Having lived in Israel for over three years and visiting almost every year, I
have developed a passion for Judaica.  I love to make Hamsas, Jewish
stars and other Judaica and can do them framed or unframed.

It is my hope that my artwork brings joy, delight and humor to
all who see it…..I hope you enjoy it!
